Media Supervisor jobs in Long Beach, CA

Media Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and guiding research and development of media plans, identifying target audience and ideal media outlets. Approves media mix and frequency as appropriate to client budget and objectives. Being a Media Supervisor may require a bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Additionally, Media Supervisor relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. May lead and direct the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department.     Responsibilities:
    • Social media engagement and interaction on clients' social media accounts.
    • Occasionally assist with weekly content ideation and creation for client blogs and social media posts.
    • Occasionally schedule weekly posts using agency scheduling tools.
    • Other administrative duties as needed. 

    Schedule:
    • Monday- remotely 9 AM-1 PM.
    • Tuesday - in-office 9 AM - 1 PM. 
    • Wednesday - in-office 9 AM - 1 PM. 
    • Thursday - in-office 9 AM - 1 PM. 
    • Friday - remotely 9 AM - 1 PM. 
    • With the opportunity of more hours as time progresses. 

    Ideal candidates MUST possess the following:
    • Exceptional writing and communication skills.
    • Advanced knowledge of all key social media platforms (at least 1 year prior experience); including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, X, Pinterest, TikTok. Creative, energetic, and always thinking proactively and out of the box.
    • Reliable, timely, and honest. Organized, self-disciplined, and task-oriented. 
    • Must have a portable high-speed laptop.

    Other qualifications:
    • Marketing and/or social media experience/internships preferred, not required.
    Compensation/ Benefits:
    • $16-$17 per hour.
