Media Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and guiding research and development of media plans, identifying target audience and ideal media outlets. Approves media mix and frequency as appropriate to client budget and objectives. Being a Media Supervisor may require a bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Additionally, Media Supervisor relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. May lead and direct the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. RECEIVES GUIDANCE FROM: Director of Teaching and Learning and Building Principals
JOB GOAL: Provide technical support to instructional and support staff pursuing the integration of technology into the classroom. Assist in the smooth and efficient operation of computer/technology applications including hardware, software, training, and instruction. Organize and assist K-6 media budget development and inventory accountability. Computer/technology application responsibilities are to be coordinated with the administrative instructional goals of the school system through the Director of Teaching and Learning.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Nine Months
EVALUATION: Annually
