Medical Billing Clerk jobs in Duluth, MN

The City of Superior seeks a permanent Utility Billing Clerk. Duties include, but are not limited to, greeting customers and taking payments, preparing monthly utility billing and delinquent notices, printing and sorting bills, computer file maintenance and receiving and correcting inventory. Assists customers at the counter and drive-up window, answers phone calls and takes messages. Depending on abilities, duties may also include accounts receivable/payable, reviewing and posting utility deposits, electronic payments, inventory reports and other accounting work.

Position includes monitoring and participating in social media including posting on the city website and Facebook page, responding to requests for information, handling updates and providing content. Position also includes answering questions and assisting customers with on-line bill pay and advanced metering infrastructure.

Minimum requirements include high school diploma, ability to speak and read English fluently, capable of being bonded. Knowledge of accounting and finance principles desired. Salary is dependent on qualifications. Individuals are subject to drug testing. Applications will be taken until November 7, 2023.
