We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Medical Biller to join our team. As a Medical Biller, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely billing and reimbursement for medical services. Responsibilities:

• Utilize MediSoft software and Office Ally to process medical billing transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Verify insurance coverage and eligibility for patients prior to services being rendered.
• Submit claims to insurance companies electronically, ensuring accuracy and compliance with billing regulations.
• Monitor claim status and follow up with insurance companies to resolve any billing issues or discrepancies.
• Enter payments received from insurance companies and patients into the billing system accurately.
• Perform regular audits and reviews to ensure billing accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Solve billing inquiries and disputes from patients and insurance companies in a timely and professional manner.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of billing regulations, coding updates, and insurance policies.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Medical Biller
• Proficiency in using billing software such as MediSoft and Office Ally.
• Strong understanding of medical billing processes, including insurance verification, claim submission, payment posting, and claim follow-up.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology and coding systems
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Certification in medical billing is preferred.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
