Billing-Front Desk Liason

Family Health Center of Joshua Tree, Inc. is a Family practice located in Yucca Valley, CA. We are looking for an experienced medical biller to liaise between Front Desk Receptionists and our Billing Service. To improve the accuracy of our Front Desk, improve collections and perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Work with front desk personnel to ensure patients' insurance and all demographic information is coded correctly at the time of appointment.
• Work with remote billing service personnel to improve performance of the front desk.
• Answer general office questions and direct questions to appropriate department.
• Assist with scheduling appointments for doctors and other medical staff.
• Assist with keeping the reception area clean, organized, neat, and presentable at all times.
• Other duties as assigned.

Skills & Qualifications

• Medical billing certificate required. Will consider applicant with verifiable years of experience.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude.
• Ability to communicate effectively with others.
• Ability to work as part of a team in a busy environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
