Job Title: Lab Technician

Type: Contract - 12 Months

Pay: $28.00-$31.00/hr

Day Shift

Location: 710 Medtronic Parkway NE, Minneapolis, MN

We are seeking a Lab Technician for a very important client.

Assist engineers as necessary in conducting R&D development experiments, and tests.

Position Description:

This position supports the development of purification of aqueous solutions to be used in a medical device applications. The majority of time will be spent in laboratory preparing and testing materials, running and maintaining equipment, and documenting work in accordance to quality system requirements. This position works under supervision of more experienced engineers and follows established procedures. This role will be working daily in person with a small team.

Main Responsibilities and Tasks:

· Characterization of materials and functional sub-components using established testing methods

· Preparation of aqueous solutions, using standard laboratory equipment and techniques to handle solutions

· Performing measurements and equipment calibrations as required

· Set-up and operate testing equipment including data acquisition software

· Generating testing samples using established procedures; Labeling, acquiring, manipulating, and storing samples

· Recording and reviewing data in specified forms

· Documentation in accordance with quality system requirements

· Cleaning and maintaining of lab space and equipment

· Collaborate across teams as required with engineers and technicians

· Other duties as assigned

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

Required Qualifications & Experience:

· Highly desired – Associates degree in technical field

· Minimum high school education or GED

· Prior lab or manufacturing experience

Pay: $28.00 - $31.00 per hour
