The Position

South Central Behavioral Services (SCBS) is seeking a part time Psychiatric Medical Director (.1 FTE) to help us implement a federal Certified Community Behavioral Health Center (CCBHC) grant in the Hastings Area. This position will provide medical oversight for our CCBHC grant program. Salary is negotiable. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty in a satisfactory manner. This position requires an independent physician, licensed to practice in Nebraska.

Duties include:

• Development and implementation of medical policy
• Participation in continuous quality improvement initiatives
• Provide consultation, evaluation, supervision and advice to medical personnel
• Participation in the design and implementation of clinical systems and program improvements
• Population level clinical surveillance
