CHCW has an opening for a Certified Interpreter to provide translation services for monolingual Spanish speaking patients and/or patients who prefer to communicate in Spanish as needed. This is a grant funded position. You will accompany Resident or Faculty physicians during clinical visits to translate and to evaluate notable vocabulary, grammatical or contextual concerns in the Provider’s Spanish communication with the patient.

Qualified applicants must be bilingual Spanish/English. HS Diploma/GED, valid driver’s license and auto insurance is required. Certified Interpreter is required. Formal teaching experience in Spanish and/or in English as a second language (ESL) strongly desired. Pre-employment drug screen required.
