Leads or contributes ideas for library strategic planning, quality initiatives, and the development of digital media and educational resources. Additionally, Medical Librarian (MLS) maintains current knowledge of medical developments and scientific literature. Requires a master's degree in library science. Typically reports to a manager. Grand River Medical Group is seeking a dependable Medical Technologist (MT), Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) or Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT). You will be performing technical laboratory functions as well as assisting with drawing patients. Duties will also include verifying patient information, patient lab orders, and specimen processing.
The ideal candidate would possess a robust lab knowledge and the ability to work efficiently with little supervision. You will need strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask. You will be a team player and work closely with the receptionists, phlebotomists, clinicians, and all other members of the care team.
This is a full-time position, 36-40 hours per week. This position is typically 5 days per week, with no evening or weekend requirements.
