Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Medical Management Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Extensive knowledge of department processes. To be a Medical Management Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 to 3 years supervisory experience may be required. Join our team as a full-time Clinic Operations Manager for an independently owned medical practice in Anchorage, Alaska. As an employee of MedMan, you will work closely with MedMan’s Integrative Service team to execute on the operational and administrative needs of the practice.
As the Clinic Operations Manager of this established, respected practice, you would be responsible for providing oversight in all administrative functions of the practice. The successful candidate is a highly effective leader with a strong understanding of medical practice operations, possesses the ability to facilitate teamwork, is an excellent communicator and is process driven. Proven experience working in a physician-owned medical practice, excellent follow-through and a visible, collaborative management style are important.
