POSITION SUMMARY
Job Title: Senior Communications Specialist
Location: Los Angeles, CA. Hybrid schedule. Requires travel throughout the Greater Los Angeles Area (vehicle and driver’s license required).

Reports To: Communications Director
The Communications Associate will provide critical support developing and disseminating strategic messaging, compelling news and information about CIPC’s work. The ideal candidate would have outstanding writing skills including excellent spelling, punctuation and grammar; would be well-organized; highly attentive to detail; and work well under tight deadlines.
CIPC’s Communications Department helps develop messaging, serves as the organization’s strategic storyteller, and social media and website content creator. The communications team works with CICP staff and external partners to produce relevant, compelling written, visual, news and digital content geared to diverse audiences across a wide range of platforms. The communications associate would be integral to the department's production of clear, cohesive, persuasive and error-free content that advances our goals.
