We have multiple Positions open & all staff must meet the following criteria:
- Have the ability to work with individuals with disabilities.
- Assist clients with identifying and implementing skills needed to promote independence.
- Participate in five hours of training in disability and service-related topics annually.
- Able to pass a State Background Study
- Valid Driver’s License with less than 3 moving violations in the last 3 years, this includes DUIs
- Maintain reliable vehicle
- Maintain valid car insurance
- Maintain a cell phone
- Personal and Home Supports tasks
Job Duties, include:
- Ensure clients receive their medication on time
- Support clients who can’t move on their own
- Help clients dress, bathe, eat etc.
- Assist clients with physical therapy exercises
- Cook meals according to the customer’s restrictions
- Help customers with their shopping
- Do necessary housekeeping to maintain a clean environment
- Provide emotional support
- Inform physicians or supervisors about uncommon events
- Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
