Sunny Hills Post-Acute is looking for an experienced full-time Medical Records Assistant. Pay range is $20-$23/hr. depending on experience! Audit experience highly preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Create new medical records and retrieves existing medical records by gathering appropriate record folders and contents.
• Responsible for maintaining the files included in a patient's health information portfolio, including medical history, symptoms, examination results, diagnostic tests, treatment methods, and other services.
• Responsible to ensure files are accurate, filled out properly, organized, and secure.
• Code patients’ medical information for reimbursement purposes.

Requirements:

• Strong computer skills and attention to detail.
• Medical Records Assistant experience in a SNF highly preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour

• Skilled Nursing Facility: 1 year (Preferred)
• Medical records: 1 year (Required)
• medical auditing: 1 year (Required)

• La Mirada, CA 90638: Relocate before starting work (Required)
