OVERVIEW:
We are seeking a skilled Medical Transcriptionist to join our team. As a Medical Transcriptionist, you will play a crucial role in accurately transcribing medical reports and documents. This position requires strong attention to detail, knowledge of medical terminology, and excellent typing skills.

DUTIES:
- Transcribe medical reports, dictations, and other healthcare-related documents
- Review and edit transcriptions for accuracy and completeness
- Ensure adherence to formatting guidelines and medical transcription standards
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to clarify any unclear dictations
- Manage and organize electronic files and documents

-Sends out copies of patient notes to referring physicians

SKILLS:
- Proficient in transcribing medical reports and documents
- Familiarity with medical office procedures and practices
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
- Excellent typing skills with a high level of accuracy
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain focus for extended periods of time
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
