A Patient Flow Coordinator is a Receptionist and Scheduler
Coordinating the flow of patients in a Cardiology Medical Practice, with 8 board certified cardiologists, 2 advanced care providers, 7 technologists, 3 registered nurses, 9 remote outreach clinics, and the primary office in Casper, and scheduling to the Banner-Wyoming Medical Center.

Patient Flow Coordinator
Very complex, multi-tasking position! This is not an entry level position.
Medical Receptionist/Scheduler (Patient Flow Coordinators' department) includes 9 co-workers; we are adding 3 more positions! Staff of approximately 45 in the practice, including Physicians and Advanced Practice Providers, at this time.
· Serve patients by greeting and helping them, checking in patients on the Phreesia medical software platform.
· Welcome patients and visitors in person or on the telephone and answering or referring inquiries.
. Assist patients and referral providers by handling their calls and questions.

· Optimizes patients’ satisfaction, physicians and advanced practice providers' time by appropriately scheduling medical appointments in person or by telephone.
· Keep patient appointments on schedule by notifying clinical staff and medical technologist of patient’s arrival via electronic systems.
· Comforts patients by anticipating patients’ anxieties, answering patients’ questions, and maintaining the reception area.
· Maintains patient accounts by obtaining, recording, and updating personal demographics and patient insurance information.
· Helps patients in distress by responding to emergencies.
· Protects patients’ rights by maintaining confidentiality of medical, personal, and financial information.
· Maintains operations by following policies and procedures, reporting needing changes.
· Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:
· College degree is an asset
· Familiarity with phone systems and computer software systems
· Experienced medical customer service.
· Medical terminology desired.
· Critical thinking skills.
· Detailed oriented.
Salary: Negotiable based on previous experience and education
