• Scheduling appointments
• Insurance verification
• Basic knowledge of EMR system for scheduling appointments, noting charts, and scanning & indexing documents
• Basic office skills filing, faxing, copying
• Maintain patient confidentiality by following HIPAA and compliance guidelines
• Experience and Skills
• Minimum of 1 years experience in a medical office
• Allscripts knowledge is preferred but not required
• Ability to work independently and adapt to a fast-paced environment
