    MUSC Community Physicians (MCP) is an entity within the Medical University of South Carolina that provides healthcare to patients within the rural health network throughout the state of South Carolina.

    The duties of this position evolve entirely around the facilitation of accurate and timely documentation of patient encounters by physicians and must be able to demonstrate a sufficient contribution to productivity so as at least offset the cost of their services.

    Job Description

    Document the physician dictated patient history, physical examination, family, social, and past medical history as well as document procedures, lab results, dictated radiographic impressions made by the supervising physician and any other information pertaining to the patient’s encounter. This position is full time in the office no remote or hybrid schedule availability.

    Minimum Education and Experience: 

    High School diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
