Being a Medical Staff Credentialing Director maintains working knowledge and ensures continuing compliance with state, federal, and institutional standards and guidelines. Develops and implements policies and protocols related to medical staff verifications and ensures that the organization and staff are in accordance with organizational and industry standards. Job Summary: Job incumbent under the direction of licensed staff, provides ambulatory medical services and support to providers including but not limited to; health screening, procedures and supply maintenance.

Representative Duties: Under general supervision of the Edgar Nollner Health Center Coordinator job incumbent will:
1. Perform initial clinical interviews and processing of patients including a basic set of vital signs and description of the complaint/reason for the visit.
2. Obtains appropriate information, specimens, lab results, x-ray results and health history from patients to prepare them for the clinical providers.
3. Assess patients for and identifies abnormal vital signs and patient conditions, and immediately reports information to the appropriate clinician.
4. Prepare exam rooms/supplies and assist clinicians during patient visit.
5. Perform procedures as trained and within appropriate scope of practice (for example, tympanography, audiometry, spirometry, medication administration, perform EKG, vision screen, and dressing change, perform x-rays).6. Stocks exam rooms, manage clinic supply inventory.
7. Perform basic laboratory functions to include POC testing, specimen collection, processing, handling/shipping, quality control, and resulting [in E.H.R.]
8. Provide and document patient education including rationale for medication administration, medication side effects, explanation of medications and procedures, prescription usage and directions, test results, disease prevention and education on lifestyle changes.
9. Set up referral appointments for patients.
10. Perform support duties on a daily basis as outlined in the appropriate shift checklist.
11. Track and log medications and vaccinations.
12. Perform instrument cleaning, packaging and sterilization.
13. Operate and maintain center's medical equipment.
14. Integrate work with other staff to ensure timely and accurate patient flow.
15. Participate in continuous quality improvement activities.
16. Comply with center's policies and procedures.
17. Schedule may include after-hours/weekend on-call.

Minimum Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
1. High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
2. One year of clinical experience; or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
3. Current Certified Medical Assistant Certification; or education; or on-the-job training. EMT experience may be substituted.
4. Current BLS certification.
5. Must pass background check pursuant to federal Indian Child Protection and Family Violence Prevention Act requirement.
6. Maintain strict confidentiality.

1. Phlebotomy and injection skills.
2. Ability to work independently and as part of a diverse primary health care team.
3. Proficient typing and personal computer skills.
