Desert View Hospital is a 25-bed, acute care hospital set in a rural community. Job Description: Responsible for the analysis of laboratory specimens and subsequent result reporting according to laboratory protocol and procedures. Acts as a resource for Medical Laboratory Technicians and Lab Assistants. Supports and assists Lead Medical Technologist.

Job Requirements:

• Education: B.S. Degree in Medical Technology (ASCP) or equivalent as defined by CLIA'88
• Experience: 3 years experience as Medical Technologist, Recent Blood Bank experience preferred.
• Technical Skills: General bench tech skills required to provide coverage in all modalities
• License/Certification: Nevada State License as Clinical Laboratory Technologist. ASCP or equivalent board registration/education required upon hire.

Note: Must obtain Nevada General Supervisor License within first 90 days. 15k Sign On Bonus if eligible to obtain General Supervisor License.
