Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Medical Laboratory Sciences, Medical Technology or an ASCP approved discipline (30 semester hours in biology and chemistry, which may be obtained within, or in addition to, the Bachelor's).
• ASCP or equivalentGeneralist Clinical Laboratory Scientist certification (CLS), Medical Technologist (MT) certification or Microbiologycertification passed within 12 months of hire or 12 months of eligibility.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Medical Laboratory Sciences or Medical Technology.
• 1 year of clinical laboratory experience.
• Current ASCP or equivalent certification.
• Knowledge of Clinical Microbiology testing procedure.
