We are seeking a skilled and customer-oriented Service Writer to join our team. As a Service Writer, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, coordinating automotive services, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and provide them with a positive service experience
- Listen to customer concerns and accurately document their vehicle issues
- Schedule appointments and assign work orders to service technicians
- Communicate with customers about the status of their vehicle repairs
- Provide accurate estimates for automotive services and obtain customer approval
- Coordinate with service technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs
- Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and vehicle service history
- Upsell additional automotive services based on customer needs
- Resolve any customer complaints or issues in a professional manner
Requirements:
- Previous experience in auto service management or as a Service Writer is preferred
- Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostics, shocks, struts, suspension, air brakes, and diesel engine repair
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with customers
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient computer skills for data entry and record keeping
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
