Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Grant Writer to join our team. As a Grant Writer, you will be responsible for researching, writing, and submitting grant proposals to secure funding for our organization. The successful candidate will have a strong background in grant writing and a passion for supporting our mission.

Responsibilities:
- Research potential funding opportunities from various sources
- Write and submit compelling grant proposals to secure funding
- Collaborate with program staff to gather information and data for proposals
- Develop and maintain relationships with funders and grant-making organizations
- Monitor and track grant deadlines and reporting requirements
- Assist with program development and evaluation as needed
- Edit and proofread grant proposals for accuracy and clarity

Requirements:
- Proven experience in grant writing, preferably in the for-profit sector
- Strong knowledge of fundraising principles and practices
- Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to write clear, concise, and persuasive proposals
- Proficiency in financial report writing and budget development
- Familiarity with Raiser's Edge or other donor management software is a plus
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
