Being a Meeting/Event Planner researches and recommends event venues. Coordinates meeting logistics, including attendee registration, transportation, accommodations, meals, and technology. Additionally, Meeting/Event Planner conducts rehearsals and system checks of all equipment and connectivity. Researches and maintains relationships with vendors for event support services. Coordinates budget planning and ensures that events stay within cost projections. Typically requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. As an Amphenol Energy Technologies, the Production Planner is responsible for managing all production order dates, communicating ship plans and working with Operations and Purchasing to ensure customer order dates are being met.

Qualifications – Education/Experience:
– Bachelor Degree in Supply Chain Management or Business Management preferred.

– Knowledge of supply chain processes and procedures including manufacturing planning, demand, and replenishment
– Must have computer proficiency
Duties/Responsibilities: (Position Specific)
– Monitor all open production orders ensuring due dates are being met
– Push in and pull-out order dates based on inventory and customer demand
– Monitor material supply flow and identify any shortages or bottlenecks in usage
– Identify and resolve problems relating to order delays
– Forecast market challenges based on competitor analysis and industry trends
– Communicate order due/ship dates directly with Customer Service
– Produce reports based on findings and performance of production
– Address issues when they arise aiming for minimum disruption
– Enter, review, and analyze customer firm orders
– Communicate ship plans, production delays, and upcoming risks to customers
– Participating in joint evaluations and investigations with operations and purchasing to assess product anomalies and provide root cause corrective action plans
