Meeting/Event Planner plans and organizes live or virtual meetings and events for an organization or external clients. Implements an event strategy to achieve objectives. Being a Meeting/Event Planner researches and recommends event venues. Coordinates meeting logistics, including attendee registration, transportation, accommodations, meals, and technology. Additionally, Meeting/Event Planner conducts rehearsals and system checks of all equipment and connectivity. Researches and maintains relationships with vendors for event support services. Coordinates budget planning and ensures that events stay within cost projections. Typically requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Meeting/Event Planner occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. General Summary: The Project Planner is responsible for planning and/or coordinating the day to day work schedule for the field installation teams ensuring they are not in conflict with restricted times or areas and meet all contractual expectations. Ensures all field workers have adequate assignments and supplements a needed. Mines data to analyze processes for improvement, communicate process improvement to management and implement cost effective solutions. Works with property owners to schedule access to multi-unit buildings.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Represents company with professional and ethical work standards consistent with the mission and management policy of the company
· Provide or coordinate training on various systems as needed
· Troubleshoot basic IT issues on Company issued equipment for field technicians
· Analyze problems to determine necessary steps to correct situations
· Analyze route saturation to be sure all areas are worked within allotted times proficiently
· Plan cold calls and appointments for technicians to ensure profitability and safety
· Maintain and review error logs and resolve issues timely and appropriately
· Drive the development of weekly, monthly and quarterly business metrics
· Create ad hoc analyses and reports in response to inquiries from senior management
· Create and maintain a clear and effective communication process between the call center and field services
· Other duties as assigned
Additional Skills/Knowledge/Abilities
· Advanced proficiency with MS Office, specifically Excel (V lookup, pivot tables, charts and formulas)
· Strong Customer Service and interpersonal skills
· Detailed organizational and time management skills
· High degree of analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills
· Ability to work effectively and collaboratively as an individual and as part of a team
· Minimum two (2) years’ experience working in an analytical capacity
Education Requirements:
· High School Diploma or equivalent and some College or Trade School
