BC Energy, a member of the Bette Family of Companies, is an established power generation Design-Build and consulting firm specializing in developing and delivering cogeneration plants and providing turn-key critical infrastructure solutions for major hospitals, universities, and other institutions in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic.

We are seeking a full-time Construction Project Manager with strengths in Construction and Energy Projects including Mechanical and Electrical installation to join our team. This position will be based in Latham, NY area but will require some travel throughout the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic to our project sites.

We are looking for a self-starter to perform the following duties and responsibilities:

• Planning, coordinating and managing all phases of construction projects, including project initiation, planning, execution, monitoring and closeout.
• Establishing project objectives, scope and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders and ensuring alignment with client requirements.
• Developing and managing project schedules, budgets and resource allocations to ensure cost efficiency and timely delivery.
• Oversee project budgeting and cost control and manage change orders to ensure adherence to budgetary constraints.
• Conducting regular site inspections to assess project progress, identify risks, and ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
• Managing procurement processes, including bid evaluations, contract negotiations and vendor selection.
• Liaising with architects, engineers, contractors and subcontractors to monitor construction progress, resolve issues and ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards.
• Maintain effective communication with project team members and stakeholders to provide project updates, address concerns and foster strong working relationships.

The preferred applicant would have a minimum of 5 years of experience in managing complex projects with values exceeding $15mil and with a track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget.

A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or an equivalent combination of higher education and technical experience is preferable.

• Experience with Design/ Build Projects and managing design consultants from concept through completion.
• Good communication and written skills.
• Proficiency with Procore as well as good computer and scheduling skills.
• Experience with Energy and Decarbonization projects a plus.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
