Processes subscriptions, membership applications, or member data changes. Being a Membership Assistant directs members to the resources to answer questions or provide requested information. Documents inquiries and interactions using a ticketing or customer relationship management (CRM) system. Additionally, Membership Assistant may draft correspondence and promotional communications or conduct outreach calling to solicit new members or promote events. May require an associate degree or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Membership Assistant works under moderate supervision. The Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro South is hiring for a Membership Coordinator in our Taunton Clubhouse. The Membership Coordinator is responsible for providing a meaningful Club experience, from an individual’s first point of contact with the Club to the daily engagement of current members. The Membership Coordinator must exude professionalism and confidence in knowledge of Club programming, implementing the Club’s Member Engagement Principals of welcome, connect, support, and invite during all member and guest interactions.
This position requires a knowledge of sales and customer service. This position will focus on the member and parent experience through verbal & written communication and facility cleanliness/maintenance by which we attract and retain members, positioning the Club for continued growth. The Membership Coordinator will assist to increase member units, as well as, increase retention, engagement, and appreciation of current members.
