Membership Assistant responds to member inquiries regarding membership, educational programs, events, publications, billing, or other problems using a phone, e-mail, or chat format. Processes subscriptions, membership applications, or member data changes. Being a Membership Assistant directs members to the resources to answer questions or provide requested information. Documents inquiries and interactions using a ticketing or customer relationship management (CRM) system. Additionally, Membership Assistant may draft correspondence and promotional communications or conduct outreach calling to solicit new members or promote events. May require an associate degree or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Membership Assistant works under moderate supervision.     Responsibilities:

    • Strong administrative skills in family law with experience handling divorce, custody, parenting and support matter issues and documentation.
    • Ability to assist attorneys in managing client queries and intake interviews for new client prospects.
    • Efficiently and effectively calendaring, billing, and filing in all courts.
    • Written and oral communication with clients, attorneys, and court staff in a professional manner.
    • Self starter, team player

    Qualifications:

    • 5 years experience in family law.
    • Excellent organizational skills for heavy case load to include calendaring and billing.
    • Professional and effective communication skills with a team-player mentality.
    • Familiarity with legal procedures, and protocols.
    • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
    • Attention to detail.
    • Ability to build rapport with clients.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Professional appearance and manner.
    • Punctual.

    Job Type: Full-time

    Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
