Membership Manager
Hiring Range: $22-$26 / hour
Position Range: $22-$29 / hour
The Membership Manager is accountable for overseeing and implementing all aspects of the membership program including acquisition, retention, and stewardship through development of strategic promotional plans, membership appeals, and special cultivation events. Works with Museum staff to design and implement programs, policies, and procedures for membership activities; develops and implements strategic membership plans that include membership acquisition (direct-mail, online memberships, brochure development, promotional opportunities, off-site sales, etc.), membership renewals (appeal letters, renewal timing/testing/analysis, reporting, incentives, and renewal packaging), membership reporting, fulfillment, benefits and dues, membership participation, and membership communication.
The role also has oversight and responsibility for the Museum’s donor database and works closely with departments and admissions staff to maintain the database, generate a wide variety of gift reports, event invitation lists, membership reports and research.
The Membership Manager communicates in a friendly, professional, and helpful manner and manages responses to member inquiries on a timely basis and serves as the liaison for members.

Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. Three years of development, marketing, or sales experience with an emphasis on creating, managing, and expanding a membership base.
