Director of Membership
The Greater Wilmington Convention and Visitors Bureau, the destination marketing organization for Northern Delaware, is seeking a motivated, charismatic individual to lead its membership program, including sales, retention and member relations. Tourism or hospitality experience is required, and some sales experience is preferred.
Position Overview
The Director of Membership will work to recruit new members in addition to retaining and engaging current members. This individual also will organize member educational and networking events with planning assistance from the Bureau’s meetings and conventions team. Finally, the chosen candidate will also manage the Visitor Center Coordinator, in charge of the Bureau’s Riverfront Visitor Center as well as many of the Bureau’s administrative duties.
