Responsible for the daily activities of the certification or credentialing programs of an association or membership organization. Being a Membership Specialist may interface with outside testing organizations. Ensures that all activities and requirements regarding an organization's certification programs are met. In addition, Membership Specialist may require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Being a Membership Specialist gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Occasionally directed in several aspects of the work.
