Men's Athletics Director jobs in Altus, OK
Men's Athletics Director directs all facets of a university/college's men's athletic program, including intramural and intercollegiate sports. Manages the entire men's coaching staff. Being a Men's Athletics Director schedules use of facilities, transportation, and sporting events. Also responsible for fundraising, publicity, ticket pricing and distribution, and purchase of new equipment. Additionally, Men's Athletics Director requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Men's Athletics Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments. To be a Men's Athletics Director typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience. - Plan gospel centered and multi-age lessons for Sunday School and Wednesday nights.
- Plan and direct VBS in the summer and Christmas program in the winter.
- Lead grades K-5th.
- Attend Children's camp in July with campers if able.
- Build relationships with students and their parents.
- Drive church van to pick up students as needed.
- Outreach to community.
