Men's Athletics Director directs all facets of a university/college's men's athletic program, including intramural and intercollegiate sports. Manages the entire men's coaching staff. Being a Men's Athletics Director schedules use of facilities, transportation, and sporting events. Also responsible for fundraising, publicity, ticket pricing and distribution, and purchase of new equipment. Additionally, Men's Athletics Director requires a bachelor's degree. We are seeking a professional who loves sports, enjoys working with kids and is responsible to manage their time with little supervision for our summer programs starting in June.
This management role requires a person that is well spoken and comfortable networking with City Recreation Leagues, Youth Organizations, and other professional organizations. You will negotiate contracts within your territory to provide Youth Sports Programs at their locations.
You will also be responsible to fulfill those contracts by managing your team of Camp Directors and Camp Coaches to facilitate the sports programs they choose. You will be responsible for staffing scheduled programs, distributing NAofA-provided equipment and ensuring they run successfully. You will be the main point-of-contact to the cities, staff and participant families.
SKILLS: Microsoft Word, Excel or Google Docs. Internet Savvy. Social Media Marketing (Facebook & Instagram) Management experience, background of working with youth, and sports experience are all preferred.

COMPENSATION: Compensation is based on performance. Hourly base pay for running sports programs is $20hr plus percentage of program profit. Other compensation bonuses are available.
We already have a summer schedule finalized in partnership with the city of Sparks. This position can be very lucrative for the right person.
As an Area Captain, we will train you how to manage and operate professionally run youth sports programs, how to create a network in your territory, how to hire and train your own camp staff and how to market your sports programs.
