Job Summary:
A Mental Health Professional / Mental Health Specialist assists with the management and treatment of community-based outpatient mental health services. The MHP/MHS is primarily responsible, under the supervision of a psychiatrist, LMHP, or psychiatric nurse practitioner for providing behavioral health services to patients.
Required Education:
A bachelor’s or master's degree from an accredited university or college in the field of counseling, social work, psychology, sociology, rehabilitation services, special education, early childhood education, secondary education, family and consumer sciences, criminal justice, or human growth and development.
