Merchandise Buyer jobs in Michigan
Merchandise Buyer selects merchandise for order, places order, and stays involved in inventory distribution. Reviews success of previous orders to determine extent to which inventory should be replenished. Being a Merchandise Buyer researches new trends or advances in product lines to make appropriate buying decisions. May require a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Additionally, Merchandise Buyer typically reports to a supervisor or manager. To be a Merchandise Buyer typically requires 4 to 7 years of related experience. Job Overview:
RCGA is an all new venue in Glen Arbor. We'll feature an 18-hole putting course, F&B pavilion, riverfront seating, live music and of course great merch! As the Merchandise Buyer, you will be responsible for overseeing the purchasing, tracking, inputing into the POS system, inventory, merchandising, and sales strategies of our retail store.
Experience:
- Some experience in retail merchandising management
- Familiarity with inventory management systems
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
