Job Description: Manage customers demands by scheduling Sales orders based on the most reasonable leadtime of products, order of priority (SAP, PSP customers) and based on availability of materials. Meet specific KRA’s defined on a given quarter and support revenue target of assigned Business Units Ensure all new Sales orders are confirmed within the most reasonable time. Update necessary tool/Workspace for reason on orders delay/push out, customer pull-in or any reason that prevents shipping product to customer per promised date/planned delivery date Update Planned Delivery Date (PDD) on Sales Orders once products become available in FG to shorten waiting time for past due customer orders. Respond on a timely manner to any quote inquiry from ISR (Inside Sales Representative) and customer/product related inquiry from GSS (Global Sales Support), and perform SOR (Sales Order Review) for pull-in request, hot items on a regular basis Perform wafer/die/material assessment before committing any products or sales order to specific shipment date Release build request through Planned Production Orders to Subcon Planner on a weekly basis or as needed in order to support Planned Delivery Date (PDD) of a given SO. Communicate clearly within the team for any expedite builds and/or escalated parts that may require full attention and hand to mouth processes. Resolve issues/concerns within the team that may cause delay in product completion/shipment. Stay on top of hot lots. Work side by side with Production Control Planner/Subcon planner to ensure all deliverables are met per expectation. Closely coordinate with Shipping/Logistics team for any issues that may cause delay in shipment and pick up. Review of customer backlog on a regular basis for any potential pull in. Inform immediate Supervisor for any issues that may hamper planned ship date of product and discuss alternatives. Ensure that the quality of work and output is always maintained. Always follow defined procedure and process Requirements/Qualifications: Graduate of BS Industrial Engineering with 2-3yrs experience as customer/demand planning preferably from semiconductor company Other Engineering course with customer/demand planning experience are welcome to apply Travel Time: 0% - 25% At Microchip, employees are our greatest strength.
