Responsible for reviewing stock to sales ratios, responding to changing sales trends, and ensuring plan sales, plan markups, and plan markdowns are achieved by departments. Being a Merchandise Planner, Sr. may require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. To be a Merchandise Planner, Sr. typically requires 4 to 7 years of related experience.     We are seeking an experienced, self-motivated and detail-oriented construction estimator to join our team!

    WHAT YOU’LL DO:
    • Examine drawings and specifications for job requirements, quantity takeoff and pricing.
    • Perform material and systems take off as required.
    • Draft bid scopes of work and final buy-out scopes of work.
    • Solicit bids from subcontractors and suppliers, set up scope and prepare bid documents/forms.
    • Examine existing conditions and attend pre-bid meeting.
    • Compile estimates, rough order of magnitude budgets, cost-benefit analysis, constructability reviews, and engage in value analysis.
    • Assist with determination of schedule.
    • Coordinate project buyout and hand off to Operations Staff.
    • Coordinate scope reviews with subcontractors and provide subcontractor recommendations based upon these reviews.
    • Search for and qualify potential new Subcontractors, suppliers, methods, equipment, etc. for competitive advantages.
    • Work collaboratively with project team to ensure positive results.
    • Assist Business Development to prepare conceptual estimates and attend meetings with Owners for interviews, scope determination and value engineering.
    • Utilize On-Screen Take Off, Excel, Building Connected, Procore, Bluebeam, and all other estimating systems utilized by the company.
    • Supervise subordinate team members.
    • We are looking for self-motivated and organized team members who enjoy working in a collaborative environment.

    SKILLS:
    • 5 years experience in construction estimating.
    • Able to read architectural plans and develop cost estimates.
    • Strong understanding of hospitality or healthcare construction help, but not required.
    • Proficiency with MS Word and Excel.
    • Able to multi-task and meet strict deadlines.
    • Impeccable problem-solving skills.
