Council for Airport Opportunity (CAO) is a non-profit organization that supports the airport community with its talent acquisition needs. CAO has a proven track record for sourcing and staffing the right talent for top companies at JFK, Newark, and LaGuardia Airports. The Merchandiser will work onsite at JFK Airport.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Execute and maintain merchandising strategies, including restocking and product rotation to ensure freshness and visibility
• Keep the store organized, clean, and sanitized by wiping spills, cleaning shelves, sweeping floors, and sanitizing areas
• Develop and maintain knowledge of market products, ingredients, and health indicators to effectively share information with guests and team members
• Present a clean, neat, and well-groomed appearance while providing information and recommendations about the airport terminal and restaurants

Qualifications

• Must obtain ServSafe Certification or equivalent within 30 days of being hired
• Must be at least 18 years old
• High School Diploma or G.E.D preferred
• Fluency in English
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs
• Must be reliable and available to work varied hours, weekends, and holidays
