Lark Hotels is seeking a part-time Housekeeper at our boutique location in Salem, MA, The Merchant.

As a Room Attendant, you will be responsible for preserving the cleanliness of guest rooms, hallways, and public spaces on the property.

Your duties will include tidying up the accommodations in accordance with hotel protocols, laundering linen, arranging bedding, and replenishing guest room amenities.

Compensation : $16 - $17 hourly

Responsibilities :

• Clean and maintain guest rooms, hallways, and public spaces at The Merchant in Salem, MA
• Perform cleaning tasks such as mopping, vacuuming, making beds, changing sheets, and doing laundry as required
• Keep track of cleaned rooms and document lost items, damages, and repairs needed
• Undertake deep cleaning assignments as directed
• Ensure common areas like the hotel lobby, corridors, and public restrooms are well-kept
• Prepare and arrange hotel rooms to meet the hotel's standards before guest arrival
• Assist guests by answering general inquiries and fulfilling requests

Qualifications :

• Must be available to work on Saturdays and Sundays from 10 am to 5 pm
• Immediate availability is required for this position
• Demonstrates a strong focus on details
• Should be a hard worker with excellent time management, organizational, and communication skills
• Preferably has over 1 year of experience as a professional housekeeper
• Possesses a good understanding of cleaning techniques and products
