Merchant Chargeback Analyst Sr. jobs in Amarillo, TX
Merchant Chargeback Analyst Sr. is responsible for investigating and reversing credit card charges disputed by the account holder. Processes refunds to the merchant or cardholder; tracks chargebacks and refers fraudulent activity to the appropriate department. Being a Merchant Chargeback Analyst Sr. may require a bachelor's degree or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Merchant Chargeback Analyst Sr. gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Job SummarySee CClear understanding of CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS
Prior experience with Texas Medicaid/TMHP billing guidelines.
Comprehension of Medicaid reimbursement guidelines.
Claims processing and/or coding platform experience.
Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills.
PC proficiency to include multi-tasking with various applications, Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel and Outlook), and working a high volume of claims with time constraints.
Ability to adapt to changing industry trends, regulations, and internal processes.See Compensation for job description
