Job Overview
Shriners Children's is the premier pediatric burn, orthopaedic, spinal cord injury, cleft lip and palate, and pediatric subspecialties medical center. We have an opportunity for a Sr. Maintenance Technician to join our team in Shreveport, Louisiana.
Responsibilities
The Sr. Maintenance Technician works as part of the team to support the ongoing building maintenance program. In this position, you'll perform maintenance inspections and repairs as needed including facility lighting, routine painting, plumbing, electrical and other related maintenance activities. In addition, you'll utilize your knowledge and skills to perform preventative maintenance and respond to emergency situations in the hospital facility.
Qualifications
Education
High School diploma or GED preferred
Experience
3 years’ related work experience preferred
5 years HVAC systems and controls experience
5 years plumbing experience
5 years electrical experience
Other
Strong teamwork skills required
Current full vaccination status required
