It Works! Chargeback Specialist

This is a hybrid position requiring 3 days in the Palmetto, Florida office/2-days remote. Candidates must be local or relocate to be considered for this role.

• All applicants must be authorized to work in the US as we currently do not sponsor employment.

The Chargeback Specialist is responsible for preventing and detecting fraudulent transactions within the company. The focus is on monitoring transactions and investigating suspicious activities to identify potential fraud and reduce chargebacks.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform manual review of distributors and customers’ orders and accounts to identify fraudulent activities.
• Respond to distributors and customers queries relating to chargebacks and unknown charges via email and support tickets.
• Investigate suspected cases of fraud.
• Monitor payment systems for fraudulent activities.
• Identify and report emerging fraud trends.
• Taking appropriate action on fraudulent accounts to minimize future exposure and risk.
• Research and compile necessary documentation to defend disputed credit card transactions on various platforms.
• Accurately update and maintain shared department reports using Sharepoint, Teams and Excel
• Maintain a queue of chargebacks.
• Document policy violations to send to the appropriate department.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

• Proficient in all Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Demonstrates successful conflict resolution negotiation, de-escalation, and interpersonal skills.
• Rules focused, must excel in handling “black and white” situations.
• Must have analytical and problem-solving skills, must be organized and able to multitask.
• Highly proactive.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

• Banking experience is preferred especially handling chargebacks and Fraud.
• Network Marketing or Multi-Level Marketing experience would be a distinct advantage.
• Bilingual Spanish.
