Mergers and Acquisitions Manager evaluates an organization's opportunities for mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures and oversees M&A project management processes including due diligence, financial planning, scoping, closing, and integration. Coordinates research and analysis activities required to assess strategic impact and risk. Being a Mergers and Acquisitions Manager develops financial models used to estimate cash flow and the potential for profitability. Collaborates with key stakeholders. Additionally, Mergers and Acquisitions Manager may participate in negotiations. Typically requires a MBA or equivalent. Typically reports to a director. The Mergers and Acquisitions Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager.
