Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Laundry Attendant to join our team. As a Laundry Attendant, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and proper care of all linens and garments. This position is ideal for individuals with experience in dry cleaning and laundering, particularly within a hotel setting. Duties: - Sort, wash, dry, fold, and press linens and garments according to established procedures - Inspect items for stains, damages, or defects and report any issues to the supervisor - Operate laundry equipment such as washers, dryers, and ironing machines - Follow proper handling and storage techniques for different fabrics and materials - Maintain cleanliness and organization in the laundry area - Assist with inventory management by keeping track of supplies and placing orders as needed - Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks Qualifications: - Previous experience in dry cleaning, laundering, or a similar role is preferred - Knowledge of different fabrics, their care requirements, and proper handling techniques - Strong attention to detail to ensure quality control of laundered items - Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment - Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively - Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy loads when necessary Note: This is a paid position. Internship positions must also be compensated according to labor laws.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $9.00 - $10.00 per hour
