Middle Market Lending Manager makes and services middle market loans and lines of credit. Performs analysis of applicant's financial data to evaluate risk and creditworthiness. Being a Middle Market Lending Manager develops loan structures that maximize profitability and meet the needs of the client. Additionally, Middle Market Lending Manager monitors loan portfolios and compliance with lending terms and policies. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Middle Market Lending Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Middle Market Lending Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     The Market Manager is first and foremost responsible for guest relations and satisfaction by building a reputation for Ultimate Service. He/She is responsible for leading the efficient, effective, safe, legal and profitable operations of the Market Department. He/She coordinates human relations for the Market Department and ensures execution of all company and department policies and procedures on a timely basis.

    • Responsible for communication of information distribution to entire department

    • Responsible for maintaining positive atmosphere, spirit and morale within the department

    • Demonstrate effective leadership skills by managing time and delegation

    • Develop team members and future leaders utilizing available materials and systems

    • Support and execute division concepts and programs

    • Accountable for executing and meeting financial goals

    • Responsible for identifying areas of opportunity throughout the store and within the department

    • Ensure quality and consistent product availability and solutions to our guests

    • Responsible for safe guarding, controlling and monitoring all department assets, ensuring policies and procedures are implemented for control of assets

    • Practice safe work habits; maintain a high level of store cleanliness, organization, and a safe work environment; encourage team members to do the same

    • Oversee that department systems and processes are utilized consistently and correctly

    • Direct meetings with the department leadership team to effectively plan production and promotion goals

    • Verifies team member schedules against business needs

    • Coach and discipline team members as necessary in accordance with policy and procedures with support from Talent Management

    • Verify all books and manuals are kept updated

    • Oversee inventory process and reporting

    • Oversee that Food Safety Procedures are adhered to

    • Approve all purchase orders and maintain adequate levels

    • Demonstrate good conflict management skills

    • Perform other duties assigned by upper management


    Key Responsibilities:


    • Must be 18 years of age or older

    • High School Diploma or equivalent

    • Minimum of one year experience as a Market Assistant Manager

    • The Market Manager is required to work the scheduled work shift as needed to meet the needs of the store guests and team members

    • Ability to work and communicate with all levels of management and subordinates in a professional manner

    • Ability to self-motivate, problem-solve and work with minimal supervision

    • Be able to perform all other physical aspects of the position including but not limited to bending, squatting, standing, lifting, climbing, pushing, pulling, and walking

    • Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 100 lbs.

    • Ability to work within a freezer for up to 15 minutes

    • Ability to work for periods of up to 8-10 hours in 50 degree temperatures. (controlled atmosphere for sanitation purposes)

    • Must possess technical skills to perform basic math and computer tasks (Word, Excel, Email).

    • Ability to work at fast-paced, but efficient and controlled manner

    • Must maintain Certified Food Safety Manager certification

    • Bilingual English/Spanish a plus

    • Ability to receive phone calls at home

    • Must be flexible to work various hours/shifts, including weekends and holidays

    • Must attend meetings, including out-of-town, requiring overnight stays

    • Must be able to transfer to another store within the area

    • Ability to function as a team member and get along with others
