Being a Middle Market Lending Manager develops loan structures that maximize profitability and meet the needs of the client. Establishes good client relationships and potential for future referrals or cross-sell opportunities. Additionally, Middle Market Lending Manager monitors loan portfolios and compliance with lending terms and policies. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Middle Market Lending Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Middle Market Lending Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. - Demonstrate effective leadership skills by managing time and delegation
- Develop team members and future leaders utilizing available materials and systems
- Support and execute division concepts and programs
- Accountable for executing and meeting financial goals
- Responsible for identifying areas of opportunity throughout the store and within the department
- Ensure quality and consistent product availability and solutions to our guests
- Responsible for safe guarding, controlling and monitoring all department assets, ensuring policies and procedures are implemented for control of assets
- Practice safe work habits; maintain a high level of store cleanliness, organization, and a safe work environment; encourage team members to do the same
- Oversee that department systems and processes are utilized consistently and correctly
- Direct meetings with the department leadership team to effectively plan production and promotion goals
- Verifies team member schedules against business needs
- Coach and discipline team members as necessary in accordance with policy and procedures with support from Talent Management
- Verify all books and manuals are kept updated
- Oversee inventory process and reporting
- Oversee that Food Safety Procedures are adhered to
- Approve all purchase orders and maintain adequate levels
- Demonstrate good conflict management skills
- Perform other duties assigned by upper management
Key Responsibilities:
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of one year experience as a Market Assistant Manager
- The Market Manager is required to work the scheduled work shift as needed to meet the needs of the store guests and team members
- Ability to work and communicate with all levels of management and subordinates in a professional manner
- Ability to self-motivate, problem-solve and work with minimal supervision
- Be able to perform all other physical aspects of the position including but not limited to bending, squatting, standing, lifting, climbing, pushing, pulling, and walking
- Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 100 lbs.
- Ability to work within a freezer for up to 15 minutes
- Ability to work for periods of up to 8-10 hours in 50 degree temperatures. (controlled atmosphere for sanitation purposes)
- Must possess technical skills to perform basic math and computer tasks (Word, Excel, Email).
- Ability to work at fast-paced, but efficient and controlled manner
- Must maintain Certified Food Safety Manager certification
- Bilingual English/Spanish a plus
- Ability to receive phone calls at home
- Must be flexible to work various hours/shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Must attend meetings, including out-of-town, requiring overnight stays
- Must be able to transfer to another store within the area
- Ability to function as a team member and get along with others
