Job Details
Jobot is partnering with a growing automotive tech company to staff a position as a Market Manager. The Market Manager is responsible for the operation and results of multiple locations within a designated area not limited to operations, profitability, internal and external development, and customer satisfaction. Expected to provide a high level of leadership and mentoring to all his/her direct reports.
- Manage the activities of all locations within the designated market through active coordination with the individual locations’ managers. Manage and hold all staff accountable for shop performance by ensuring all reporting employees understand the company mission, ensuring staff is following standard operating procedures (SOP), recognizing and documenting exceptional and substandard performance.
- Assist in load leveling for the market by holding daily planning calls.
- Recruit, interview, train new hires.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by coaching staff and resolving customer concerns as required. Seek out opportunities for continuous education and development for all employees and implement all corporate training requirements.
- Ensure consistent execution of our operations plan for all locations.
- Monitor capture rates to insure stores are taking full advantage of opportunities.
- Work with corporate staff to achieve the external growth of the assigned market. Meet or exceed the objectives of the area business plan.
- Promote safe, clean working conditions; review audits and safety records of their locations. Ensure all personal protective equipment is being used properly and document managers that do not enforce safety policies.
- Review location performance against goals with location managers, and provide coaching to ensure all locations are performing to potential. Conduct operations reviews with location managers and audits, and meet as requested.
- Promote, develop and act as a liaison with area insurance contacts, Bodyshop managers, and rental car customers.
- Ensure that stores are responsive to clients in a timely manner.
- Work with corporate call center to assure the best possible customer experience.
If you have at least 3 years of market management, sales and business development, new unit opening and operations experience within the automotive repair industry (or related industry), possess an excellent attention to detail with great organizational skills, have the ability to perform under tight timelines and to work on, and prioritize between multiple projects at one time, can influence without authority, innovate to tackle tough problems, and communicate clearly, have a passion for applying technology solutions and leveraging technology trends to deliver results, posses fantastic customer service and vendor management skills and have the ability to travel, than this could be a great opportunity for you.
