Middle Market Lending Specialist supports middle market lending activities with administrative, analytical, and client support activities. Collects and reviews middle market loan development information and prepares required analysis and documentation. Being a Middle Market Lending Specialist establishes good client relationships and potential for future referrals or cross-sell opportunities by responding to requests for information, answering questions about products, and coordinating other service resources. Performs loan portfolio tracking and generates reports to measure compliance with lending terms and policies. Additionally, Middle Market Lending Specialist keeps abreast of lending products, services, and policies. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Middle Market Lending Specialist occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Providing exceptional knowledge and recommendations of wine, beers, and liquors to customers to help them with perfect pairings for their event.Reporting Structure: This position formally reports to the Store Director.Status: This is a non-exempt position.KnowledgeThe following is a list of any certifications, formal education, or training requirements for this position.
Essential Knowledge
- MUST BE 21 years of age or older.
- Knowledge of beer, wine, and other liquors.
- Completion of ongoing training and development as listed on the Cosentino Learning Plan.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
SkillsThe following is a list of the basic skill requirements for this position.Essential Job Functions- Supervises and trains clerks.
- Practice effective inventory management by counting and verifying merchandise against invoices and inspecting deliveries against for shortages, damages and quality.
- Know and practice rotation procedures to ensure product dates are properly monitored.
- Promote department sales by making product suggestions to customers and demonstrating effective merchandising techniques.
- Know and promote ads and specials to increase department sales and profits.
- Ensure the department is always clean, fully stocked and creatively merchandised.
- Able to operate, clean and maintain all equipment safely and competently.
- Meet or exceed productivity standards to produce desired team and individual results.
- Know, comply with, and ensure the team complies with all health regulations, sanitation guidelines and safety procedures for your department and your store.
- Demonstrates exceptional knowledge of the items in your department so you can accurately and courteously answer customer questions.
- Identifies a wide variety of items for the department and markets them in a way that promotes maximum sales.
- Develops ideas for community outreach to promote and sell department items.
- Know and implement the Cosentino Customer Service Standards.
- Demonstrates the strong verbal and interpersonal skills necessary for positive customer and peer interactions.
- Demonstrates the basic math and reading skills required for the position.
Non-Essential Job Functions- Quickly unload incoming shipments and neatly stock them in their designated areas without damaging merchandise.
- Resolve customer complaints in a professional manner and recognize when it is appropriate to involve a member of the store management team.
- Practice open communication with store management team regarding any issues in the department.
- Support your company by completing additional tasks identified by management, assisting other stores or departments as needed and gaining new skills when necessary.
Physical AbilitiesThe following physical movements could potentially be part of any scheduled shift and employees will be expected to perform these actions while on duty.Essential Abilities- Reaching overhead with both arms up to a maximum of 76 inches, twisting at the waist and lifting objects with both hands weighing up to 30 lbs.
- Pushing and pulling grocery items to the proper locations as needed, up to a peak force of 50 lbs.
- Standing and walking for long periods of time on tile, asphalt, concrete or other hard surfaces.
- Occasionally lifting and carrying up to 35 lbs.
- Bending and squatting, at times all the way to floor level.
- Able to work in colder conditions of the grocery coolers and freezers.
Non-Essential Abilities- Climbing a ladder, possibly up to 5ft.
