Job DetailsResponsibilities:
- Develop and modify complex CNC programs using CAD/CAM software such as Mastercam, Gibbscam, or equivalent.
- Set up CNC machines, ensuring proper alignment and calibration for optimal performance.
- Operate CNC machinery to produce parts, adhering to predefined specifications and quality standards.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to understand the specifications and requirements of each product.
- Use precision measurement tools to inspect parts and ensure they meet exact specifications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with machines and equipment, implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Collaborate with the engineering and production teams to improve manufacturing processes and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in CNC programming and machining technology.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience as a CNC Programmer/Operator in the manufacturing industry.
- Proficiency in CAD/CAM software, including Mastercam, Autodesk Fusion, GibbsCAM, etc.
- Extensive knowledge of CNC programming, machine setup, and operation.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Experience in precision measurement and metalworking.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Knowledge of Computer Aided Manufacturing (CAM) and its application in the manufacturing process.
- Commitment to adhering to all safety standards and regulations.
- High school diploma or equivalent. A degree in a related field or relevant certifications will be considered an advantage.
