Summary:

ARC Specialties, a Houston based robotic and automation manufacturer, has an opening for a Control Systems Programmer. This position will be responsible for programming Fanuc, ABB, and Kuka robot systems. This is a full time, exempt salaried position with benefits. Will relocate the right candidate.

Primary Job Duties:

• Responsible for writing teach pendent code, developing process control software, and implementing this on a variety of automation equipment
• Performing system design, programming, simulation, testing, start-up, and commissioning
• Some travel will be necessary for machine commissioning, customer training, and service support

Qualifications:

• Ideal candidate will have 5 years of Fanuc (or other robot manufacturer) programming experience
• Good communication skills are required for interfacing with customers to support sales, installation, and service activities
• Comfortable and familiar with manufacturing technologies, processes, and environments
• Able to travel in the US and internationally
