Job Description:
Embark on an exciting journey as a Receiver at Seed to Table! As a Produce Receiver, you will be at the forefront of our commitment to excellence, playing a crucial role in ensuring that our customers receive the freshest, finest produce possible. Joining our dedicated produce team, you will be responsible for receiving incoming shipments, meticulously inspecting each delivery for freshness and quality, and efficiently organizing our inventory to maintain optimal freshness and availability for our customers. Your attention to detail and dedication to providing top-notch service will contribute to memorable shopping experiences and uphold our reputation for excellence in every interaction.

Position Summary:

Essential Qualifications:

The following qualifications are essential for success in this role:

• Dedication to ensuring the highest quality of received items, upholding our commitment to delivering fresh products to our customers.
• Possess a comprehensive understanding of produce varieties, ensuring accurate inspection and acceptance of incoming shipments.
• Collaborate effectively with the BOH team and management to streamline receiving operations and maintain a well-organized storage area for incoming produce.
• Strong communication skills to coordinate with delivery personnel and staff, facilitating the smooth receipt of orders and timely resolution of any issues.
• Adaptability to thrive in a dynamic environment, efficiently managing and organizing incoming shipments.
• Previous experience in receiving in advantageous.
• Proficient in English, with additional proficiency in Spanish considered a valuable asset.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Non-slip shoes are mandatory for a safe working environment (please note that company does not provide).
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.
• Reliable transportation is a must.

• Endurance for Receiving: Ability to stand for extended periods, ensuring consistent attention to detail during the receipt and inspection of incoming shipments.
• Leadership in BOH Operations: Set a standard of excellence in handling and organization, inspiring efficient practices for receiving and inventory management.
• Lifting Capability: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, ensuring the safe and efficient handling of produce crates, boxes, and containers during the receiving process.
• Keen Observation: Maintain sharp observation skills to assess freshness and quality incoming shipments.
• Clear Communication: Effective communication with delivery personnel and team for coordinating receiving activities and resolving any issues of incoming shipments.
• Manual Dexterity: Adeptly handle various types of produce items, ensuring careful and accurate recording of received inventory.
