Job Summary

This position is responsible for supporting the industrial team process ensuring around the clock coverage by performing daily plant rounds, promoting, and utilizing the work order & preventative maintenance systems, troubleshooting problems with pumps, motors, valves, heat exchangers & systems.

Job Responsibilities

• Daily water treatment tests to ensure proper preventative maintenance of open and closed cooling and heating loops.
• Identify/correct problems with pumps, motors, valves, heat exchangers.
• Display welding and fabricating skills.
• Utilize preventative maintenance systems by planning daily activities with production.
• Basic shop tool experience, (i.e., drill press operation, cutting operation, and grinding, power tool operation)
• Familiarity with centrifugal and positive displacement pumps, gear box and pump rebuilding experience, electrical trouble shooting/change-out, motor circuit troubleshooting ability, pneumatics will all be necessary.
• Lock-Out / Tag Out

Job Qualifications

• 4-6 years proven experience as a Mechanical Millwright
• OSHA 10 / Basic Plus / TWIC
• Completion of an apprenticeship program or technical certificate preferred.
• NCCER Preferred
• High School Diploma / GED
